There’s a couple of good reasons why I haven’t posted a blog in like, 8 weeks.
The harddrive in my Mac Powerbook died taking all my data with it. All my Documents, e-mails, family photos, Still Music Group library (hundreds of hours of work to input and organize), my worship publishing catalogue, and a bunch of other stuff I can’t remember - all gone. Years and thousands of hours of work vaporized.
Then the external firewire drive with my last backup self destructed when I tried to restore it. Yes, this really happened the end of May/Early June.
I’m finding bits and pieces here and there of other archives. But I’ve been super busy and just haven’t had the energy to put humpty dumpty back together again. I had developed a work flow where I downloaded most of my brain on the computer, so now I’m a little reluctant to trust it.
On the “God works all things together for good” side of things, this has made me more dependant on Him to prepare for my teaching and He has really come through. I’ve got some awesome worship experiences and ideas to blog about, so check for updates.
